OUR MEMBERS

We currently have members all over the Country who retain their military link with Lancaster through our Group and occasionally travel to join in our activities. Naturally the majority of members are located in the LA and CA postcode areas.

OUR ORGANISATION

In common with any other organisation we require a small number of people to take on the responsible committee roles that ensure we function effectively and have an impact in the District. We are always keen to encourage new members to take on these positions.

Join us

We welcome everyone who has an interest in and sympathy for the military community in the Lancaster District. We are a joint services organisation in addition to uniquely welcoming civilian members who have not previously had such a connection.

Our members enjoy a varied programme of talks, usually accompanied by a light supper on both  contemporary and historical military subjects and given by a wide range of speakers.

In addition we hold an Annual Dinner where a 'Nationally Significant' speaker provides a topical overview of recent and current Defence Thinking  Among others we have enjoyed the Chief of the Defence Staff and the Second Sea Lord, with speakers from all three services and the world of Academia.
